A 3-year-old girl from Kenya has had a new life in India. Sir Ganga Ram Hospital has difficult open heart surgery and liver transplant. Doctors say it was a very difficult surgery and only children could be saved through this operation.

Dr. Naimish Mehta, Senior Liver Transplant of Sir Gangaram Hospital said, "There was a large tumor in the baby's liver and heart. Because of this, the blood was not able to properly reach all the parts of his body. The child was very weak for surgery. That's why we took care of her nutrition for the first 3 months. '

Doctor Mehta said, "Never before have we had more than one case of such a small child together with more than one surgery. Before deciding the entire process of surgery and medical treatment, we did several sessions. ' According to the doctor, 'There is a fairly wide gap between two major surgeries. In this case, this was not an option because the tumor could spread in more parts of the body. '

Doctor Mehta said that we had only one option for surgery and we took this chance. On June 20, 40 medical staff took part in this surgery and it took about 15 hours. The tumor was removed from the liver first and then open heart surgery was done in the same operation theater with the same team.
